A post recently shared to Hit The North Festival’s social media pages stated: “After such a terrible year for the music industry, we are delighted to bring the festival back.
“It’s amazing that we can end it on a high with one of the city’s most loved events.”

Established in 2017, Hit The North is a popular annual event that takes place within Newcastle’s most iconic venues. In past years, venues such as the O2 Academy, Riverside, and Boiler Shop hosted the likes of Slaves, Nothing but Thieves, Jake Bugg, Peace and The Hunna.
With stage lineups, venues, and more to be revealed in the coming months, Hit The North Festival is set for one of its most musically diverse events to date.
